The City of Iloilo has proven once more that it is a Bike-Friendly City in the Philippines, aside from being recognized as the Bike Capital of the Philippines. 

Mobility Awards once again awarded Iloilo City as one of the most bike-friendly cities in the country, alongside Quezon City and Baguio City. 

Over 700 cycling enthusiasts from different regions in the country participated in the Bike Fun Ride in celebration of the National Bike Day in Iloilo City on the last weekend of November 2023. The participants pedaled some 21 kilometers.

Over 500 cyclists joined the circuit race in preparation for the national level competition. 

The Mobility Awards is said to have established itself as a platform that recognizes acts of leadership by Philippine local governments, workplaces, and establishments promoting active mobility among their constituencies, customers, employees, and communities since 2020.
