A man from General Santos City was arrested for allegedly posting nude photos and videos of his wife on social media.

Members of the Police Anti-Cybercrime Unit-12 launched an entrapment operation at an inn in Barangay Calumpang after the victim sought for assistance.

Authorities said the couple has separated for more than a year already.

"Dahil sa gusto makipagbalikan ng mister sa kanya so ginawa niya yung gi-my day niya yung nude photos and videos ng biktima at dagdag na rin yung pagte-threat sa kanya. Susunugin daw niya yung bahay nila,” RACU-12 Digital Forensic Section OIC, Lt. Mark Bicera, said.

For his part, the suspect hopes that he will be forgiven by his wife.

"Ako gyud tong dawaton nga gibuhat to nako pero ako man gi-delete pud. Naa koy history sa post-traumatic disorder, nagsagol-sagol na akong gihuna-huna. Katong threat, panghadlok lang to kay dili naman gud siya mu-reply ato nga time,” the suspect said.

The suspect is facing charges for grave coercion, violation of Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act (RA 9995), and Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children (RA 9262).
