The Federation of E-Trike Operators and Drivers Association (FETODA) in Naga City, Camarines Sur has warned drivers not to take advantage of the holiday season by overcharging passengers.

"Dae man giraray ako nalilingaw na ipagirumdom na ining maabot ngunian na kapaskuhan asin bagong taon na dae magsamantala, pero ang sabi ko sainda picturan nindo itong mga nagsasamantala, itong mga private ta iyo po talaga ito ang nakakaraot samuya," Kagawad Gil Belen, President of FETODA, says.

FETODA is also monitoring closely colorum (unregistered) and private vehicles that continue to operate illegally.

The association cautions both drivers and passengers to report to authorities instances of overcharging and illegal operations.

Both authorities and the church are making preparations to accommodate the expected surge of people attending the traditional dawn Masses.

Tricycle drivers in Naga city express optimism about increased earnings during the holiday season.

"Ang dilensya ming mga tricycle ta Christmas season matao digdi sa sentro kadakol man pasahero," Allan Valenzuela, a tricycle driver, said.

"Siyempre gusto mi man itong medyo durudakulong income ta an samuyang pamilya man pagbabagong taon sana po bako naman gayong matraffic," Arnel Sanglay, another tricycle driver said.
