Davao region has the most number of flu-like cases in the country, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
Based on its latest disease surveillance report, the country has recorded over 193,000 flu-like cases from January 2023 to November 25, 2023.
Of this number, more than 27,000 are in Davao region.
This prompted the Davao City Health Office to offer free flu vaccination at the People’s Park on December 28, 2023.
“Para sa akoa lang is para safe pud ta sa mga flu. Kung naa pa gani pang pneumonia, pwede pagyud unta,” a resident said.
The free flu vaccination is until Friday, December 29, 2023.
