A 23-year-old cyclist from Dagupan City clinched the first place in Stage 2 of the Intermediate Sprint Tour of Thailand 2024.
Efren Reyes represented Team Philippines in the international cycling event, competing against more than 10 other countries.
The Stage 2 race, spanning over 202 kilometers, saw Reyes leading the pack to victory.
Prior to this achievement, Reyes had already made a mark in Philippine sports as a two-time Philippine National Games delegate and Batang Pinoy champion.
Reyes is the son of a jeepney operator and a fish vendor.
