The formal opening ceremony for the 2024 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet was set at 5: 30 p.m. on May 2, 2024 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
Over 6,000 delegates from six provinces in Region 6 are to compete in about 40 sports events for the annual regional sports competition.
To protect student-athletes from the extreme heat condition, certain sports events scheduled originally in the morning are moved in the afternoon.
The sports events will be played in three locations in Negros Occidental - Bacolod City, Talisay City, and San Carlos City.
