The Letran Lady Knights are once again on top of the NCAA volleyball world after 27 years, taking down the four-time defending champions Benilde Lady Blazers in five sets in Game 3 of the #NCAA101 Women's Volleyball Finals on Friday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. 

Letran started out flat in the first set, but mounted a two-set comeback before finishing Benilde in a thrilling fifth set, 15-25, 25-17, 26-24, 17-25, 15-12.

The Season 101 title marks Letran’s first women’s volleyball championship since 1999, where now-head coach and newly heralded NCAA Coach of the Year Mayeth Carolino was still a member of.

Best Opposite Spiker Judiel Nitura was crowned the Finals Most Valuable Player.
