'The Sweetheart and The Balladeer: Fun Night Only' concert series, to guarantee a different concert experience
A concert headlined by two of the country's top singers, two trending comedians and two of this generation's upcoming music artists - 'The Sweetheart and The Balladeer: Fun Night Only' definitely guarantees a different concert experience.
GMA Regional TV, GMA Entertainment Group and GMA Pinoy TV have teamed up to bring closer to our Kapuso the brilliant performances of Julie Anne San Jose, Christian Bautista, Donita Nose, Tekla, and Golden Cañedo via 'The Sweetheart and The Balladeer: Fun Night Only' concert series.
Julie and Christian have been sharing the stage for a while via Kapuso shows and other concerts, and the addition of DonEkla's comic duo and The Clash alumni only proves a night of music and entertainment one for the books.
The Asia's Pop Sweetheart said, “Hindi na rin po mahirap for us kasi parang in an instant, okay na, gets na namin 'yung isa't isa. Mas masaya po of course kasi nandito nga po si Donita 'tsaka si Tekla, and of course si Golden. We're very, very excited about this show kasi hindi lang ito parang 'yung kantahan pero may tawanan din siyempre.”
The Asia's Romantic Balladeer echoed Julie's statement, saying, “For the new year, for 2019, we're making new combinations and kami ni Julie medyo alam na namin gagawin namin on stage but it's gonna be more exciting again kasi nga for me our champion here Golden is gonna be with us and she's gonna tour the Philippines and the world someday, Josh as well. And 'yun 'yung magbibigay talaga ng spice sa concert na ito.”
“Simply because of DonEkla talaga. Sila ang magdadala ng fun sa gabing ito. Kami naman nina Julie and Golden naman ang magdadala ng fun through song, fun through dance and it's a new combination that we're trying out. Kami ni Julie we're more excited because Donita and Tekla here, and Golden and Josh are with us. Excited kaming makita nila itong mga Kapuso viewers natin and concert-goers what they can really do at a concert scene. So I'm really, really excited for that,” he added.
'The Sweetheart and The Balladeer: Fun Night Only' will kick off at the Iloilo Convention Center, Mandurriao, Iloilo City on January 27 with Golden as the special guest. Its second leg will happen at The Atrium, Limketkai Center, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro on February 10.
