Kapuso leading lady Barbie Forteza is determined to move past her "pa-tweetums" image by showcasing her sexy side in the GMA-7 primetime series, Meant To Be.
24 Oras offered televiewers a sneak peek of the sizzling hot episode of the romcom series shot in Laiya, Batangas.
During Barbie's interview with Kapuso showbiz reporter Cata Tibayan, she revealed some of her preparations for the scene.
This will be the first time the talented actress will appear on TV in a bikini.
“Once na nabasa ko ‘yung script na may ganitong eksena nag-cut ako ng carbs, wala agad carbs. Maliit na chicken for protein and egg whites.”
“Hindi camote kasi hindi ako nagkakain ng camote, saba, saging na saba ‘yun.”
Barbie’s leading man Jak Roberto was impressed with the discipline of her co-star in preparing for their beach scene.
Jak said, “Iba ‘yung disiplina niya sa pagda-diet pagka nagpe-prepare sa ganito eh. Tulad noong isang araw sobrang hilig niya talaga sa ice cream, kaharap niya ‘yung ice cream hindi siya kumain. Apple lang talaga siya.”
“I’m so proud of her. We support her in every way, we were giving her advice. Even on the set, we would not eat in front of her,” Addy Raj added.
