Mr. Hataw Joshua Jacobe emerged as one of the grand winners in the first multi-platform boy band competition in the country, To The Top. Now that he is part of GMA Network’snew boy band T.O.P., Joshua has one promise.

“We’ll make OPM richer and prosper. We will revolutionize the term ‘boy band,’” he said.

Joshua did not feel confident with the career path he would take before joining the competition but the program has helped him a lot.

He admitted, “Si Joshua Jacobe dati ay ‘yung taong uncertain pa sa kung anong trabaho or career ang kapupuntahan niya. Dati nagpe-perform lang ako para sa sarili ko. Pero ngayon, I learned to connect with the audience more.”

Joshua claimed he now has improved musicality and grew from a simple dancer into a choreographer, all thanks to the fellow artists, coaches and people he was able to work with in To The Top.

“Performing is an art.” This was the best takeaway Joshua got from all the months of rigorous training and showdowns.

“We need to improve each and every day. Hindi kami makakampante with our craft today. It will keep on evolving, improving,” said Joshua.

He also declared, “Pagbubutihan ko pa sa lahat ng gagawin ko. I’m gonna make performing an art.”
