Modern day cupid Papa Dan, reveals his most memorable callers in 'Wanted Sweetheart'

Kapuso listeners has enjoyed the company of Mr. Romantic Papa Dan for several years now. His hit evening program, 'Wanted Sweetheart' became an avenue for many single men and women to find their true love.

In a chance interview with the cutie DJ, he revealed to GMA Network.com his memorable callers to date.
According to Papa Dan, the first person that comes to his mind is the single mother that found a second chance at love through his radio program.
"'Wanted Sweetheart' has been on-air from 2008 to 2009, we’ve had quite a handful of good callers. May mga tumatawag na nagkakatuluyan talaga.”
"Natutuwa ako because they would call tapos hindi sila hahanap ng sweetheart, like last month may tumawag sa akin saying thank you. Sabi sa akin, "Hello, Papa Dan. Thank you ha. Hindi ako naghahanap ng sweetheart. I’m a single mother, mayrun na akong boyfriend ngayon. Diyan kami nagkakilala at sobrang bait niya sa akin and sa aking daughter.""
From the radio to the altar
Dan added he is also elated to learn that there were even couples that met in the radio show that ended up going to the altar.
He said, “Mayrun din tumawag na ikanasal na. Sinabi sa akin na ikakasal na sila that weekend. Siguro a couple of days before. Sinabi na ganun "Ikakasal na po kami." Ayun! So, nakakatuwa, probably two couples na yata ang ikinasal because of 'Wanted Sweetheart.'"
Moreover, October is a special month after Papa Dan’s weeknight radio program started airing nationwide last October 5.
The show promises to be more entertaining with more kilig moments, since the evening program is going nationwide.
Papa Dan explained, “Mga Kapuso at mga Kabarangay natin, abangan niyo po ang mas pinalawak, mas pinalakas, at mas pinakilig na 'Wanted Sweetheart' dahil ngayon, hindi lang sa Mega Manila, hindi lang sa buong Luzon ang ating pagpapakilig.”
“Maabot na po ang bawat sulok ng bansa dahil gagawin nating nationwide. Makakausap natin ang iba’t-ibang mga single na mga Kapuso natin.”
He added, “Malay niyo makilala niyo ‘yung sweetheart niyo, hindi pala taga-Maynila. 'Yun pala tiga-Davao, tiga-Cebu. Hindi masama, may iba-iba tayong kultura, iba’t-ibang panunuyo aba eh ‘di mas maganda.”
