What's the meaning of the song 'Hiling' for singer Arnel Pineda?

Arnel Pineda, vocalist of the band Journey, dropped by Sikat sa Barangay this Friday morning (August 11) to promote his self-titled album, AP.

In his one-on-one interview with Mama Belle, the talented singer talked about his new single "Hiling."

According to Arnel, he wrote the song in 2003 and that it has a special place in his heart.

He said, “Actually matagal na 'yan 2003 ko pa nasulat 'yan. Ilang beses ko na rin inilabas, pangalawa na inilabas ko siya. Kaya lang ayokong tumigil kasi I believe in the song, I believe in the emotions of the song. 'Tsaka ‘yung inspirasyon na ibibigay niya lalo na ngayon sa mga true lovers out there. ‘Yung mga naniniwala sa forever 'di ba.”

“I was so inspired sa kantang ito nung nasulat ko, kasi during that moment na magkasama kami ng wife ko na naramdaman ko naku winiwish mo 'di ba na hindi matapos ‘yung moment na ‘yun.”
