Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and PEPsters’ Choice Celebrity Pair of the Year Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo received acclamations for their respective albums.

Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and PEPsters’ Choice Celebrity Pair of the Year Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo received acclamations for their respective albums.
To date, Julie Anne’s self-titled debut album has turned nine-times Platinum and had exceeded 135,000 units in combined digital and CD sales. It contains four hit songs including I’ll Be There, Enough, Bakit Ngayon and For Everything.
“We are happy to announce that this is the first time in a long, long time that the nine times Platinum has been achieved by an artist,” Philippine Association of the Record Industry Inc. (PARI) Chairman Atty. Marivic Benedicto said.
Additionally, the songs in this album have been recognized by various award-giving bodies as Julie Anne bagged the award for Best R&B Song for Enough in the 26th Awit Awards and Favorite Mellow Video for I’ll Be There in the 2013 MYX Music Awards.
“Sa mga supporters ko, maraming salamat. Hindi ko po magagawa ‘to kung hindi dahil sa inyo. Thank you so much,” Julie Anne expressed.
Meanwhile, the celebrated love team of Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo was recently presented with the Platinum Record Award for their joint album TOMDEN, which includes Ikaw Ang Sagot sung by Tom, Kailan Man sung by Dennis, and their duets Forever and the My Husband’s Lover theme song One More Try.
“Hindi ko alam na marami pa palang bumili ng CDs, kaya maraming salamat. Ginastusan ninyo kami, salamat,” thanked Dennis.
“Salamat sa mga bumili at sa lahat ng nag-download, thank you, thank you so much. Wow,” Tom added.
Julie Anne San Jose and TOMDEN are both under GMA Records and are available in record dealers nationwide.
