You’re My Foreignoy finalist Jeff James is a full-fledged Filipino by heart. Even before he joined the Eat Bulaga competition, he has fallen deeply in love with the people and culture of the Philippines.

The Filipinos love him back just as much as he emerged as the Dabarkads’ Choice, garnering over 55,000 votes.

The singer who hails from Hawaii has released his album titled GoGoGo in the Philippines through GMA Records. The twelve-track album, which is available in CDs and digital format, contains his first Tagalog song called ‘Isa Pang Love Song.’

Although he didn’t get to bring home the You’re My Foreignoy Artistahin Talaga title, Jeff James only has great words for Filipinos.

“Why do I love (the) Philippines? Kasi ang mga tao ay friendly at helpful. Tama nga na they are so hospitable,” he said in a Facebook status.

He also noted how love takes on a whole different meaning in the country because of the big hearts of the Filipinos.
“Dito sa Philippines, nakita ko ang true meaning ng love and for me, that’s how Filipinos show love to their families. It’s so touching how Filipinos respect and value the elders. Wala masyado ganun sa ibang countries,” he added.
