James Wright's self-titled album hits gold
GMA's Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs James Wright, received a special surprise as his self-titled album has reached gold status.

GMA's Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs James Wright, received a special award as his self-titled album has reached gold status.
He was surprised by album producer Vehnee Saturno and representatives from GMA Records with the gold award on Unang Hirit earlier today, May 27.
"It's just a huge blessing talaga na hanggang ngayon I'm still promoting the same album that I was [promoting] one year ago. Sobrang blessed ako. 'Dun sa mga tao that helped me along the way, maraming maraming salamat po," James said.
The award was also presented to Vehnee Saturno, his album producer and composer of the songs in his album.
James, during a brief interview in the program, shed light on the inspiration behind most of his songs.
"Actually, it's my mom. Siya 'yung inspiration sa album na ito. Sa mga may hindi alam po, my mom is a breast cancer survivor. Siya ang insipirasyon sa likod ng lahat ng kanta," he explains.
As a special treat, James sang one of the songs off the album, Ikaw 'Yon.
