To please his dad who is a lawyer, Junno took up Finance in De La Salle University and finished it with flying colors. Shortly after, he landed a job in a multinational bank.

Every day, his mind was consumed with processing loans, but his heart drifted off to being on a stage, singing his heart out on a microphone. While sitting on his office chair working on documents, he knew he’d much rather be putting pen to paper as he wrote songs with his guitar.

One night after work, he headed out to unwind from the demands of his job, and he chanced upon an old friend. This friend told him that he was taking up Music Production in De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (CSB) and he was happy to be channeling his passion into something concrete.

At that piece of information, something in Junno awakened, and he realized that he isn’t where he should be.

“From that point, parang alam ko na yung gusto ko. Pinaglaban ko na siya all throughout,” he said.

The following day, he quit his job. The next week, he took an entrance test in CSB. The week after, he was enrolled in Music Production.

Since then, things started looking up as he met people with similar interests and passions. It was in CSB where he met his bandmates, and they called themselves 'Not Informed.' He also established connections that later on proved to be valuable.

One of the contacts he made was with professor and music producer Alwyn Cruz, who referred him and his band to GMA Records.

For Junno, 'Not Informed' is greatly blessed with the opportunity to release their songs through a record company that can help them distribute their music to extents that were once beyond his imagination.

With that, they named their EP ‘Our Time’, as they believe that it’s high time for people to hear their story through their music.

“Kami naman,” Junno remarked.
