Cast of Julie Anne San Jose’s 'Tidal Wave' music video googled her before the shoot

World-class Kapuso talent Julie Anne San Jose spent a few weeks in the U.S. last May to do a series of shows, record a few songs and shoot a couple of music videos.
She recently launched the music video of her single ‘Tidal Wave,’ which was shot in San Francisco. As the song’s theme was about first love, the music video featured dozens of young people from the city.
Julie Anne shared that she established close ties with her music video cast and they made her feel very welcomed.
“Sobrang masaya yung feeling na syempre hindi lang [basta] trabaho lang [yung ginawa namin]. Sobrang approachable nilang lahat, sobrang mainit yung pagtanggap nila sa akin… I made some friends and everyone was so nice to me,” she shared.
She also revealed how the cast admitted to 'Googling' her name before they shot the music video.
“Ginoogle daw nila ko. Sinearch nila ko. Ang pinaka-top search daw sa ‘kin ay yung 'Super Bass' [cover ko] na YouTube video,” she said.
Her new American friends were impressed with Julie Anne’s credentials and even joked about gaining popularity in the Philippines since they’re part of her music video.
“Sinasabi nila ‘Uy magiging sikat na ‘ko sa Philippines kasi kasama namin si Julie Anne,’” she joyfully recounted.
