Top One Project (T.O.P.) has released the official music video of ‘San Na,’ and the all-male group credits the Maestro Ryan Cayabyab for providing them with inspiration and technical know-how in composing their own songs.

T.O.P. offered six fresh tracks in their self-titled album, but the boys are particularly proud of their composition.

Mico Cruz introduced, “It was just us ‘yung gumawa ng ‘San Na.’ ‘Yung first track po sa album which is 'San Na,' ‘yun po ‘yung first original namin as T.O.P.”

Doon namin talagang binuhos ‘yung natutunan namin sa ‘San Na,’” Miko Manguba added, recalling how they got the extra nudge from their GMA Records producer.

Louie Pedroso and Mico wrote most of the lyrics, and it only took them overnight. Meanwhile, Miko, Joshua Jacobe and Adrian Pascual took charge of the sound and musical arrangement.

“It was fun kasi experience po siya para sa akin. Learning experience po siya para sa akin. Babalikan po namin ‘yun para makita namin kung gaano na ‘yung tinataas namin, ginagaling namin,” Adrian also said.

Furthermore, ‘San Na’ sends a strong message that captures the boy’s maturity not just in their music but as well as the ripeness in their emotions.

“It talks about ‘yung hindi lang sawi… ‘yung mga promises na nature talaga nila is made to be broken,” he continued.
