Towards the end of his successful concert ‘Upsurge,’ Alden thanked several people for making the production happen, and for contributing to his current success.

None of the messages, however, were as special as what he delivered for his late mom Rosario Faulkerson.

With a sense of grief, he shared how unfortunate it was that she isn’t able to witness him perform on the big stage and experience all the good things in his life with him.

He takes comfort in knowing that she’s watching over him, and declared that he’s dedicating the evening to her memory.

So Ma, wherever you are, this concert is for you, and I love you so much,” he noted.

The Pambansang Bae also shared that he requested Your Guardian Angel to be part of his album because it's the song that reminds him most of his mom.

'Upsurge' was held last night, May 27 at the Kia Theater. Special guests were Maine Mendoza, Raimund Marasigan, Jerald Napoles, Janno Gibbs, Mark Herras, Rodjun Cruz, Kristoffer Martin and Migo Adecer.
