Rufa Mae Quinto recently returned with a fresh new look this January 2025!

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress surprised fans with photos showcasing her stunning new hairstyle, marking the beginning of a new chapter after facing recent challenges.

Rufa Mae shared that she visited Studio Fix by Alex Carbonell in Makati City for her transformation. She went all out with a new haircut, dyed roots, and “triple lowlights, highlights all the lights.”

What truly resonated with her followers were the empowering captions Rufa Mae shared, reflecting her strength as a woman. She expressed that whenever she feels uncertain, she starts with her hair to symbolize a fresh start.

"One by one, step by step, first thing! New hair cut, new hair color, new me. Bright hair, brightness personality,” she happily wrote.

She also quipped, "Madapa na ako wag lang hair ko!"

Rufa Mae's new hairstyle quickly caught the attention of netizens, especially since it was one of her first posts following the controversy surrounding her involvement in an investment scam linked to a derma company she had endorsed.

The comedienne was charged with violating Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code, which led to an arrest warrant being issued against her. Rufa Mae denied any involvement in the scam but voluntarily surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to cooperate with the authorities. She has then posted bail in the amount of PhP1.7 million.

"Maraming salamat sa lahat-lahat po ng tumulong to NBI, to Pasay, pati po 'yung judge namin, lahat ng lawyers, sa lahat po ng tao na nandito and, of course, sa lahat ng press na nagsusulat nang maganda para sa atin. And naniniwala po akong justice is very fair so kaya uuwi na ako, go, go, go, home. Finally, makikita ko na ang kama ko," she said.

Rufa Mae also took a moment to thank her followers and fans for continuously sending supportive messages, which have become a source of strength for her in facing the challenges, despite the fear she has been feeling.
