WATCH: Are affordable foundations worth their price?

Did you know that there are foundations available in department and drug stores for as low as P100? But are these affordable foundations really worth their price?

Filipina YouTube vlogger and beauty guru Raiza Contawi put 5 different brands of foundations all priced below P500 to the test so she can find out how well they perform.

Aside from trying on the products, Raiza also shared a few points to consider when buying foundations to see if they're really worth every penny.

One trick she does is to divide the foundation's price to how much product is in the bottle to figure out the money you're paying per fluid ounce. A foundation may seem cheap due to the price listed on the store but a more expensive foundation with even more fluid ounces may be cheaper in the long run.

Another factor Raiza considers is the pigment found in the foundations. Cheaper foundations may not have as much pigment or coverage compared to pricier ones hence you might use up the product faster.
