Family and friends of Lloyd Cadena upload tribute vlog for his birthday

On his 26th birthday, the friends and family members of YouTube personality Lloyd Cafe Cadena uploaded a tribute vlog in his honor.

Popular personalities such as Raiza Contawi, and Mikey Bustos, including his staff and neighbors graced the 24-minute video to share the many things they missed about the 26-year-old vlogger.

One of his old neighbors said, “Lloyd, bakit mo kami iniwan anak? Nanghihinayang ako kung bakit ka biglang tinanggal ni Papa Jesus kasi sana maraming tao ka pang natulungan anak.

“Ang puso ko, hindi mapakali kung bakit umalis ka. Siguro marami ka pang natulungan dito sa atin.

“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng ginawa mo. Nung nagkaroon ng pandemya, sinong sumuporta sa amin? Ikaw lang! Tatlong beses mo kaming binigyan ng pagkain, ng de lata, at ng bigas. Maraming salamat, anak.”

Meanwhile, Raiza Contawi said, “Happy, happy birthday! Alam ko na kung nasaan ka man, you are experiencing eternal happiness and nothing but the best.

“I wish for your family, friends, and loved ones na ma-equip sila with strength, faith, acceptance, and happiness knowing that you are with our Creator and you are now our guardian angel.

“'Yung energy mo, sobrang present pa rin at sana ay makapagbigay pa 'yan ng kasiyahan sa lahat.”

The video ended with a shot of Lloyd singing “Hanggang Dito Na Lang” by Jaya and a montage of photos showing the social media star at his best: giving happiness to the people he loves.

Lloyd passed away on September 4. His family revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 and suffered a heart attack at 5 a.m.

His final vlog, uploaded on September 19, remains at the top spot on YouTube's list of trending videos in the Philippines.
