For Heart Evangelista, it's self-care before skin care

There are a lot of skin care routines available out there. From magazine articles to beauty bloggers and celebrities, you can take bits of information and then curate a routine that will perfectly fit your lifestyle and, of course, budget.

But to spice things up, here's an interesting skin care advice according to Heart Evangelista.

Heart said that keeping a healthy body should be the main priority before anything else. And to do that, she uses products that align with her lifestyle.

“Health is wealth. This house is your soul so you really have to make sure that you go with what's good and healthy for your body, as natural as possible.

“It's very important to make sure that you explore different products and see what works for you,” she told GMANetwork.com during her contract signing with Luxe Organix held at the Manila House, Bonifacio Global City.

The Queen of Creative Collaborations revealed that she prefers skin care products that are quality, natural, and paraben-free. She also considers the price as a big factor.

“I think that for 2020, self-care is a must. And it shouldn't have to be expensive. It should be for everybody because this is the real richness--health.

"Minsan ang hirap din na kung gusto mo alagaan 'yung sarili mo, hindi naman kailangan na it'll cost you an arm and a leg.

"Although I will spend for self-care and skin care, I am also very practical with my money. You know, not just because it's expensive it'll work.”

Whether you're a big spender or a strict saver, the Kapuso star believes that self-care is the key to achieving beautiful skin.

"You really have to make time for yourself. Not just for your soul but to really have self-care. It'll go a long way and it will also feel good.”
