Halsey is urging people to turn away from the old, tired standards of beauty with the launch of her very own makeup line About-Face.

About-Face exemplifies everything that Halsey is and some more. It's rebellious, bold, fun, playful, diverse, and versatile.

The "Closer" and "Without Me" singer made the announcement through a campaign video she shared on her Instagram account.

Opposed to the usual beauty campaigns where women are usually shown as dainty and delicate or sensual with a come-hither look, About-Face's campaign video is edgy, raw, unapologetic, diverse, quirky, and individualistic, just like how Halsey wants it to be.

Halsey said in her caption, “About-Face is officially available for pre-order now! Many of you may already know that I have done my own makeup for concerts, red carpets, magazine covers, and music videos alike for a long time.

“It is one of my greatest loves, but I have always stood firm in the belief that makeup is about feeling cool--not looking perfect.

“I have worked tirelessly on this for years with an incredible team and I hope you feel my DNA all over it. PLUS it's vegan and cruelty-free :) link in bio. HAVE FUN!”

Halsey's makeup line consists of face, lip, and eye products, plus some beauty tools. The brand also sells other merchandise on its website, including limited-edition cosmetic bags and gift cards.

Some of the products that you can shop in About-Face's online shop are the Light Lock Highlight Fluid, Light Lock Powder, Light Lock Shimmer Stick, Light Lock Lip Gloss, Paint-It Matte Lip Color, Matte Fix Lip Pencil, Matte Fluid Eye Paint and Shadow Stick.

All of which are available in various shades. Plus, they also have a Matte Fix Spray and Blend Tool.

Prices of About-Face's products range from $17 to $32, or around P816.95 to P1,537.79.

As Halsey mentioned in her IG post, their products are already available for pre-order, but the beauty line will officially launch on January 25.

It has also been reported that Halsey, or Ashley Frangipane in real life, is planning to drop an “anti-Valentine's Day” collection on February 1, which aims to promote the greatest kind of love: self-love.

Aside from Halsey's followers, celebrities and colleagues in the music industry have already expressed their excitement over the launch of the singer-songwriter's own beauty line.

Fellow singer Sza commented, “Whatever it is I WANT IT ON MY FACE . ️” While record producer Benny Blanco simply replied, “*screaming*”

Aside from Halsey, several celebrities have also dabbled into the beauty industry. Jennifer Lopez has also launched her anti-aging skincare line under her beauty brand JLo Beauty on the first day of the year.

Other celebrities with their own makeup line include Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Kesha, and Rihanna.
