Miss Universe Philippines contestant Michelle Dee is showing her support for women who are getting the same haircut as her.
Michelle Dee is gaining steam and being appreciated in the Miss Universe Philippines competition, but she's also making sure that other women are also getting their plaudits by featuring them on her Instagram Stories.
In three posts on her Instagram Stories, Michelle is complimenting women who are getting what they're calling the “Michelle Dee Cut,” a hairstyle that replicates her short haircut. Michelle had nice words to say for all three looks, saying “Ganda” to one, “Bagay!!” to another, and “Looking good” to the third one.
Michelle is due some compliments herself, as she has been performing well in the various challenges that the Miss Universe Philippines has been giving contestants.
Just today, Michelle placed in the top three of the pageant's casting video challenge. Along with her were Miss Misamis Oriental Annabelle Mae McDonnell and first place winner Miss Pasay Celeste Cortesi.
Both Michelle and Celeste are former pageant winners, with Celeste winning the Miss Earth Philippines crown in 2018 and Michelle winning the Miss World Philippines crown in 2019.
Aside from the casting video challenge, Michelle was also part of the top three of the Miss Universe Philippines swimsuit challenge, alongside Celeste and Miss Taguig Ma. Katrina Llegado, who was the challenge winner.
In her Instagram post for her swimsuit challenge entry, Michelle credited celebrity friends Rhian Ramos, Max Collins, and Janina Manipol as creative directors of the shoot.
Michelle was announced as part of the Top 50 candidates of the 2022 pageant last month.
