Michelle Dee adds another achievement as she continues her Miss Universe Philippines journey.
Michelle Dee is making headway in the Miss Universe Philippines competition as she is named one of the Top 3 placers in the pageant's swimsuit challenge.
In a post on the Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account, Michelle was included in the Top 3 alongside Miss Pasay Celeste Cortesi and first place winner, Miss Taguig Ma. Katrina Llegado.
Coincidentally, both Celeste Cortesi and Katrina Llegado are already beauty pageant titleholders like Michelle. Celeste was Miss Earth Philippines 2018 while Katrina was Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019. Michelle was Miss World Philippines 2019.
Michelle's winning swimsuit photo was helped along by celebrity friends Rhian Ramos, Max Collins, and Janina Manipol, who served as creative directors of the shoot.
Michelle's placement in the Top 3 follows her early lead in the pageant's Kumu follower sprint. The candidate that gets the most additional followers at the end of the follower sprint gets an advantage during the pageant's preliminary period in the form of their own make-up room.
Michelle was announced as part of the Top 50 candidates of the 2022 pageant last month, resulting in netizens using the hashtag #DeePaTaposAngLaban to celebrate.
