Michelle Dee wins multiple awards at Miss Universe Philippines preliminaries
People still doubting Michelle Dee's chances of snatching the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 crown might be rethinking at the moment as the Kapuso star just won multiple awards at the recently held preliminaries of the pageant.
Over several posts on its social media accounts, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced that Michelle was the winner of six special awards - Miss Kumuniverse, Miss Creamsilk, Face of Essentials by Belo, Miss Jojo Bragais, Miss Savepoint, and Miss The Medical City.
Michelle Dee was also named part of the top three of the casting video challenge, the top three of the pageant's swimsuit challenge, and the winner of the Catwalk Queen Award.
Other special award winners include Miss Bohol Pauline Cucharo Amelinckx as the Frontrow Choice Queen and Miss MG Cars, Miss Pangasinan Ivylou Corpuz Borbon as the Luxxe Slim Fitness Queen, Miss Palawan Angelica Lopez as the Luxxe Immunplus Queen Majestic, Miss San Juan Danielle Arielle Camcam as Miss Coins.ph, Miss Mandaue Isabel Dalag Luche as Miss Jewelmer, Miss Taguig Ma. Katrina Llegado as Miss Philippine Airlines and Miss CAD.
Also named as special award winners were Miss Nueva Vizcaya Gillian Katherine De Mesa as Miss Smilee, Miss Pasay Celeste Cortesi as Miss Avana and Miss Aqua Boracay, Miss Cebu City Chantal Elise Legaspi Schmidt as Miss Cavaso, and Miss Cebu Province Lou Dominique Piczon as Miss Okada Manila.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant will be held on April 30, with the first national broadcast on May 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, on GMA.
