A-list celebrities gathered to celebrate the arrival of Gentle Monster in the Philippines. The Korean luxury eyewear brand opened its local flagship store at Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City on October 17, introducing a revolutionary retail experience unseen before in the market.
The Gentle Monster Shangri-La Manila Flagship presents a striking scene never encountered before, complete with 'The Giant' sitting atop a destructed architectural reinterpretation of FREDERIK HEYMAN's 3D artwork.

The intricately placed art pieces in vertical and horizontal variations across the space present a strong emotional contrast with the store's facade, demonstrating a truly one-of-a-kind retail experience.

Raymond Gutierrez, the event producer of the Gentle Monster launch, expressed excitement about brand.
“Today, we're celebrating the launch of Gentle Monster, which is this amazing Korean brand. Ito yung first store nila rito sa Pilipinas. So, noong sinabi nilang kung pwede ako yung mag-produce, of course, nag-yes kaagad ako,” he said.
The former TV host added, “Kakaiba talaga yung mga shades ng Gentle Monster, parang out of this world, mala-alien. Even yung store, the interior design, the way they lay it out… Actually, everything you see inside the store is from Korea. That giant man you see behind me was shipped all the way from Korea, so talagang pinaghandaan at pinaghirapan that's why I'm very proud.”
