Former Dabarkad Valerie Weigmann engaged to the brother of GMA News reporter Maki Pulido

Do you still remember the mestiza Valerie Weigmann that joined Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros in their Sugod Bahay segment in Eat Bulaga?

Well, after conquering the world of the beauty pageant in 2014 by winning the Miss World Philippines title, Valerie will soon marry her boyfriend of seven years, Bodie Pulido.

According to the column of former Startalk host Ricky Lo, Bodie popped the question last April when he and Valerie were exploring the ancient structure of Machu Picchu in Peru.

The beauty queen confirmed the news via her Instagram post yesterday, May 16 wherein she shared the moment when Bodie asked her hand in marriage.

“And the highlight of the whole trip... finding my forever in the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. After 7 years you sealed the deal in the most excellent way @bodiepulido #stillonahigh #isaidyes #machupicchu #peru”

Bodie Pulido, a businessman, and lawyer is the brother of GMA News senior reporter Maki Pulido.

Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina greeted the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Pulido for their engagement.
