Reigning Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez and the woman she succeeded, Rabiya Mateo, both looked glamorous as they met up to judge the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur 2022 (Miss Ilocos Sur) pageant.
On her Instagram, Beatrice posted a photo of her with Rabiya, alongside event host Marlon Stockinger. The Miss Universe Top 5 finisher said that she was excited to be part of the Kannawidan 2022 celebrations and to share judging responsibilities with the “gorgeous” Rabiya Mateo.
Beatrice's stint as a beauty pageant judge is just the latest of her activities post-Miss Universe. Last month, she shared the photos from her LifestyleAsia cover, which described her on the cover as “a queen not only for the crown she won, but what she stands for.”
Aside from landing magazine covers, Beatrice has also been very active in helping the victims of Typhoon Odette recover from the devastation left behind by the storm. Last year, she conducted relief operations on New Year's Eve for fire victims in Mantayog, Mandaue and evacuees seeking refuge in the Cebu International Convention Center.
She also celebrated the birth anniversary of her Lola Yaga by packing 300 relief good packs for a relief operation in Compostela, Cebu.
Beatrice has also boosted the relief operations conducted by Save the Children and the Miss Universe Philippines Organization, which had pledged to match any donations made through the remittance app, Sendwave.
Beatrice has also worked with the Simply Share Foundation and the Naval Reserve Center of Eastern Visayas to conduct a relief effort for those stranded in Cebu ports. Check it out in the gallery below.
