Bubble Gang star and content creator Ashley Rivera was feeling the love from her family and closest friends in show business as they gathered to celebrate her birthday last night at the Nautilus Bar in Quezon City.
Some of the stars spotted during the intimate party were Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista, who arrived with Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Valeen Montenegro, Chariz Solomon, and “Asian Cutie” Albert Nicolas.
Other personalities who attended the fun celebration were GMA Films, Inc. President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and her husband Shintaro Valdes.
Also present to show their support were Sparkle executives Tracy Garcia and Joy Marcelo.
In her interview with the members of the GMA media, Ashley expressed her gratitude to everyone who came to the party. She said, “Siyempre masaya talaga ako, kasi after two pandemic birthdays 'yun nga, ito 'yung first time na mag-celebrate.
“This is my first-time to have a big party and feel ko talaga napaka-importante ko ngayon. So, happy birthday to me.”
Meanwhile, Atty. Annette, who is a fan of Ashley, described her as one of the top comediennes saying, “I wish that Ash[ley] will have many more projects to come.
“And alam mo ba dati, even before Ashley Rivera 'yan pinapanood ko siya on YouTube as Petra Mahalimuyak, bago pa siya pumunta dito sa Pilipinas. Kaya tuwang-tuwa ako na nandito siya sa Sparkle and I'm one of her fans, talagang isa siya sa pinakamagagaling na comediennes dito. So, I know malayo pa 'yung mararating niya. Happy Birthday, Ash!”
In addition, Heart Evangelista wished the birthday girl more content in the future, so that she can inspire a lot of people with her talent.
She said in an interview with Nelson Canlas, “I wish her all the best, may she have more content to inspire, to uplift, and to make more people happy and in return that she may be one of the happiest, beautiful girls in this world.”
Heart continued, “I'm a testimony na madami siya na-inspire, because I'm a fan of Petra Mahalimuyak and it's nice to finally meet her, actually. This is my first time to meet her, I'm very happy to meet her.”
Career
Ashley Rivera is having the time of her life. Aside from scoring a huge endorsement deal with a popular liquor brand last year, she's also part of two high-rating GMA shows, Bubble Gang and Happy ToGetHer.
The TikTok star is still in awe that she's part of these amazing programs.
“Unang-una masaya ako kasi na I'm still part of Bubble Gang, kasi doon naman talaga nagsimula lahat and comedian talaga ako. So kumbaga, nalalabas ko talaga doon 'yung kulit ko and of course Happy ToGetHer.
“Hindi ko inexpect na magiging part din ako noon. I'm so happy na close ko 'yung cast din, of course, ng both shows and siyempre thankful ako na nabigyan ako ng chance ng GMA.”
