In an Instagram story post, the mom of three shared a scene that she had with her mom in the 2016 Filipino drama film Ma' Rosa. The late veteran actress won the Best Actress award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for her outstanding performance in the said movie.

In the second episode of the limited talk series My Mother, My Story, Andi Eigenmann was asked by Boy Abunda on who she is because of her mother.
“I am brave and I am strong. And I know that I can overcome anything and I can get through anything. I can achieve anything that my heart desires because of my mom," she answered.
In March, Jaclyn Jose died at the age of 60. Andi Eigenmann is the daughter of Jaclyn and Mark Gil.
