Four years after taking a break from showbiz, Nadine Samonte graced 'Eat Bulaga''s “Bawal Judgmental” segment as one of the choices who are currently inactive in the entertainment industry.
She rose to fame in showbiz back in the first season of StarStruck in 2003 and has appeared in several Kapuso shows and films.
Despite not appearing on TV for quite some time, Nadine is happily enjoying motherhood.
Nadine married businessman Richard Chua in October 2013. They initially kept their marriage private until their first wedding anniversary. Nadine said that they wanted their personal life to be lowkey as a newlywed couple.
In her interview with 'Eat Bulaga,' she explained why she left the limelight temporarily, ”Simula nung nabuntis ako sa panganay ko, I wanted to spend more time with her tapos biglang dumating si pangalawa. I want to spend more time with the family.”
The couple is blessed with three children, Heather Sloane, Austin Titus, and Harmony Saige.
Nadine also admitted she misses showbiz and is planning to make a comeback. "Nakaka-miss umarte nakaka-miss 'yung mga samahan n'yo sa set, nakaka-miss magpuyat, nakaka-miss din. Kaya I'm planning [a showbiz comeback], baka soon."
Aside from being a full-time mom, Nadine has also been managing their family's online businesses which include dried fishes, pastries, and condominium unit rentals.
