For Carmina Villarroel, this year's Father's Day is a particularly bittersweet one as she is celebrating it without her beloved Daddy Regy, who passed away on June 7, almost two weeks ago.
Carmina announced the sad news on her Instagram account, posting a photo of her dad with his wife, Carmen Muñiz-Villarroel. At the time of the announcement, several celebrities expressed their condolences in the comments section of the post. Some of those who left messages include Marian Rivera, Gelli de Belen, Marjorie Barretto, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Kyline Alcantara, and Darren Espanto. Even her former partner, BB Gandanghari, extended her condolences, which Carmina appreciated.
Both of Carmina's children, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, also paid tribute to their Daddy Groovy, with Mavy promising to keep Carmina safe and Cassy describing her Daddy Groovy as the “strongest man” she knows.
