Kung maaari raw mag-rewind ng mga pangyayari sa buhay, babalikan ng mag-asawang sina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera ang kanilang mala-“royal wedding” noong December 30, 2014 at ang pagsilang ng kanilang mga anak na sina Zia at Sixto.
“Bukod sa wedding day namin, pinanganak yung dalawang anak ko,” sabi ni Dingdong nang sandali silang makausap ng entertainment media matapos ipakilalang celebrity endorsers ng NWOW e-bikes kahapon, December 11.
Dagdag pa ni Marian, “Gusto ko rin yung sa wedding. Gusto ko rin yung sa mga anak namin. Parang sinasabi ng iba, 'Naku, madaling lalaki 'yang mga 'yan.' Kami parang, 'Hindi 'yan.'
“Kaya ngayon nakikita namin, nakakasama namin sa park, sabi namin, 'Naku, ang laki na ng dalawa.' Oo nga, ang bilis nga lumaki. So, gustung-gusto namin talaga na hangga't kaya namin to make time sa kanila.”
Kamakailan lang ay ibinahagi ni Dingdong ang masayang bonding nilang pamilya sa isang park.
Samantala, isa sina Dingdong at Marian, na kilala rin bilang DongYan, sa mga celebrity couple na hinahangaan sa showbiz.
Bagamat, marami ang humahanga sa kanila, sabi ng mag-asawa ay hindi rin naman sila naiiba sa iba pang couples.
Pahayag ni Dingdong, “Yung mga nakikita naman po sa media, especially sa amin, mga one percent pa lang po kung ano talaga ang nangyayari sa aming buhay. Hindi naman po talaga lahat ay nase-share namin.
“Minsan, hindi rin naman kami perpektong tao. Pero isa lang bagay ang sinsiguro namin, we always try hard to become a better person--not just for ourselves but also for each other and our family.”
Kaya naman sabi ni Marian, maging pressure sa kanila ang paghanga ng mga tao sa kanilang relasyon.
“Minsan mahirap magpa-pressure sa ibang tao, e,” aniya. “Ang mahalaga ay yung relationship na kayong dalawa. Tulad nga ng sabi niya [Dingdong], parang one percent lang ang nakikita. Marami rin kaming conversations, marami kaming ginagawa together na parang lahat normal lang naman.”
