Magkaagaw star Sheryl Cruz proves that blood is definitely thicker than water as she posts a series of photos of her and her aunt Susan Roces celebrating the Lunar New Year together at a private family event.
Susan, whose real name is Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora, is the aunt of Sheryl from her mother's side.
On Instagram, the acclaimed actress simply wrote the hashtags, “#MamaInday&Me2020,” “#BloodIsThickerThanWater,” and “#MySonoraFamily2020.”
This then prompted fans to see the relationship between the two prominent figures in the Philippine show business proving there are no network wars when it comes to family.
Sheryl and Tita Swannie
During a press event for their hit GMA Afternoon Prime series, Sheryl told the press that she and her “Tita Swannie” have a good standing relationship together.
She said, “Okay naman kami ng aunt ko."
“I write letters to her (Susan) and she checks up on me through my Nanay Doray. Pinapadalhan ako ng mga pagkain. 'Yun ang aming relationship sa isa't isa.
“My aunt is always going to be a part of my life and she's always gonna be my blood. She's always gonna be the person I look up to as my second mother.”
