“You'll always be my princess,” writes JC de Vera as he celebrates his daughter's 2nd birthday amid the enhanced community quarantine.
JC de Vera couldn't believe that his daughter, Lana Athena, had just turned two years old.
On his Instagram, he posted a photo of him carrying his daughter with a lengthy message thanking her for teaching him how to become a dad.
“Happy birthday my dear Lana! Ang bilis dumaan ng two years. Here we go.
“We are so grateful to our Father dahil binigay ka niya sa amin! We'll never ever get tired of thanking him.”
He then shared his wishes for his growing daughter: that she may have “more strength and energy to continue to spread happiness and joy” to everyone around her.
“May your angels protect you all the time! God loves you! We love you! You'll always be my princess.
“No gifts lang today ha. Wala kaming mabili,” he jested.
“Gift of time ang gift namin sayo, hindi kami magsasawa ibigay sayo yun kahit natatanggap mo na everyday since nung pinanganak ka. I love you!”
He and his fiancée, Rikkah Cruz, then celebrated their daughter's birthday at home with their family members due to the imposed enhanced community quarantine.
The mini celebration was even documented by the actor through a time-lapse video that showed their daughter enjoying her Elmo and Cookie Monster cake.
Lana Athena was born on April 12, 2018.
Earlier this year, JC and his fiancée hinted that they will be tying the knot very soon by releasing photos from their stunning prenup shoot in Jones Bridge.
