Mariel Padilla joined in on the craze and made her own ube cheese pandesal.
Social media favorite, the trendy ube cheese pandesal, has made it to many kitchens and social media accounts this quarantine.
Of course, novice baker Mariel Padilla did not miss the chance to try making it for herself.
She shared her successful attempt in a short video on her Instagram account.
"Wow! Success! Yummy," Mariel is heard saying as she breaks the bread open to reveal the gooey cheese inside.
"My very first Ube Cheese Pandesal yay!!!!! #CookingInaKaTalagaMommyMariel," she wrote in the caption of her post.
Mariel considers it a victory to be able to cook more dishes after 10 years of marriage.
She has previously shared her culinary misadventures like multiple attempts before successfully making pandesal.
She also tried making Spanish bread as it is one of her husband Robin's childhood favorites.
Mariel hosts a cooking show which she streams on Facebook Live.
