Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz hold 'new normal' maternity shoot

Celebrity couple Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz are expecting their third child and held a maternity shoot to mark another milestone in their relationship.

In a vlog, they revealed how they pulled off their maternity shoot under the "new normal."

"First time ko actually mag-maternity shoot nang ganito. Kasi 'yung first time, wala lang. Second time, wala talaga. So ito, dahil sabi ni Marco last na daw na baby," Lara jokes.

Lara is 30 weeks pregnant so they needed to be extra careful.

Her makeup artist Byron Velasquez and her hair stylist Ron Roz had to get tested for COVID-19 before the shoot.

"Bago kami nag-start, nag rapid test muna itong si Byron at si Ron dahil sila 'yung directly na hahawak sakin. Thank God dahil negative naman 'yung result ng kanling COVID-19 rapid test," Lara shares.

Aside from the this, the team behind the shoot all wore face masks. Byron even wore a faceshield while doing Lara's makeup.

Marco also revealed that the studio where they held the shoot only books one client a day to ensure the safety of their customers.

The couple said that they thoroughly enjoyed the shoot.

"We are done with our maternity shoot. Sobrang nag-enjoy ako kasi parang at least for the first time in a long time parang feeling ko maganda ko ulit kasi na makeup-an ako, naayusan ako," Lara recalls.

"Lagi kang maganda!" Marco interjects.

"'Yung feeling lang na nakapag-glam up ako ulit and 'yung posing posing really felt good," she continues.

Marco shared that she shoot reminded them both of work which they terribly miss.

"Actually na-miss namin na parang nag-taping. Kasi medyo matagal na kaming hindi nagme-makeup, nag-aayos ng buhok, nagte-tape. Nakaka miss working with people," he says.

Lara and Marco have been married for eight years.

They had their first wedding ceremony in Canada on January 1, 2011. Their second wedding was a grand and televised Christian ceremony held in Hacienda Isabella in Indang, Cavite on July 8, 2012.

They have two sons, Noah and Tobias.

In a previous vlog, the couple revealed that they are having another baby boy.
