LJ Moreno and Jimmy Alapag adjust to their new life in the US

A week after flying to the United States, LJ Moreno and Jimmy Alapag shared how they are adjusting to their new life abroad without any household help.

On YouTube, the Alapag-Moreno family is trying their best to adapt to their new environment including setting up new furniture, buying a family car, and adjusting their body clock.

LJ and Jimmy have also been closely monitoring their kids who are wide awake at 4 a.m.

“It's 4 a.m. and as you can hear, we have a child wild awake. Why?” said LJ as she pointed her camera towards their youngest child, Calen Asher.

Jimmy added, “Thank you Lord because we finally have a car for the family but I have yet to sleep because I'm so tired but he won't go to sleep so pray for us.”

The two begged Calen to give them time to rest even just for two hours to which the latter eventually agreed.

In the video's description, LJ said that while adjusting to their new life may seem hard at first, seeing their kids happy makes it all worthwhile.

“It's been a while since we did everything on our own without our trusty staff to help us,” she wrote.

“We had to do all the chores all while looking after our three kids and though it may be crazy tiring, it's fun having to spend this much time together and being super hands-on with everything.”

The couple, together with their three kids, flew to the United States around mid-September.

They announced the move on Saturday, September 19, through their YouTube vlog and said that their decision to migrate was the effect brought by the pandemic to their family.

Jimmy said, “It's been a strange six months, to say the least. With so many of us affected by this pandemic, I know it has forced us as a family to change course a little bit in terms of our plans as a family.

“Going through everything these past few months, LJ and I spoke about what will be the next step for our family, what's going to happen as far as the basketball game is in Manila.

“We decided to move back here in the States for the meantime.”
