Yasmien Kurdi amazed at daughter Ayesha's progress on the piano
Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi shared a cute throwback video of her and daughter Ayesha having fun on the piano.
The video was taken during the earlier part of the year and features Ayesha playing the piano while Yasmien sings for her.
The mother and daughter duo performed a few lines of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."
Ayesha also briefly played the "Fur Elise."
Due to the pandemic, Yasmien was able to spend more time with her daughter and got to know her more.
"Ang dami kong na discover sa baby ko ngayong #StayAtHome, mas nakakapag-bond kami, nanonood ng movies together, 'yung tipong naubos na namin yung mga palabas for kids sa #netflix, kaya naman gumagawa kami ng mga fun activities dito sa bahay...," she wrote on her Instagram account.
Accroding to Yasmien, Ayesha started piano lesson last year and is showing amazing progress.
"Pero since last year pa naman bago pa mag pandemic, nahilig na talaga si AZ mag piano kaya naman pina- piano lesson namin siya kay Teacher Joanne last year ng mga April. Tapos ngayon, Voila! nakakatuwa! ang galing na niya ... pagaling siya ng pagaling mag piano everyday...," she shared.
Yasmien is amazed at how quickly children absorb new information.
"Pati ako tinuturuan niya pero di ko parin ma-gets haha! siguro dahil iba talaga kapag bata ka pa nag start mag-aral ng piano. Yasmien recently celebrated gaining one million followers on TikTok.
She was also part of GMA Telebabad anthology mini-series I Can See You, where she starred in "The Promise" with Paolo Contis, Andrea Torres and Benjamin Alves.
