Anne Curtis's daughter Dahlia tries taho for the first time

By Jansen Ramos

Just like other first-time parents, Anne Curtis feels excited for her daughter Dahlia Amelie every time she unlocks a new milestone.

From Dahlia's first beach trip to her first walk, Anne made sure it was well-documented and shared it on social media to bring sunshine to her followers' day.

Anne even considered Dahlia's simple milestones as a small win just like eating taho for the first time.

Made with silken tofu, sago or tapioca pearls, and arnibal or brown sugar syrup, taho is loved by many Filipinos because of how the arnibal blends with the soft texture of the tofu especially when served warm in the morning. So it's no surprise if Dahlia enjoyed the classic Pinoy favorite!

"Me, trying to be @erwan for a minute.

"I think Dahlia approves of her first try of taho," said Anne.

Due to community quarantine measures brought about by COVID-19, taho street vendors were lessened.

This motivated some small business owners to sell do-it-yourself taho kits and have them delivered to your homes.

For those who are craving for taho right now, you can get your taho fix by messaging these online sellers in their social media accounts.

Meanwhile, if you are feeling meticulous with the process and ingredients of the local staple snack, check out this homemade recipe by Erwan Heussaff, Anne's husband.

Anne and Erwan welcomed Dahlia on March 2, 2020 in Melbourne, Australia.

After spending over a year in Australia, they returned to the Philippines a month before Dahlia's first birthday.
