Jean Garcia's mom Sandra Garcia, 70, succumbed to COVID-19 last April.
In observance of Mother's Day, actress Jean Garcia has penned an open letter to her late mom Sandra Garcia, who succumbed to COVID-19 last April.
The letter was accompanied by a series of photos of herself and her mom.

She wrote, “There isn't a day that goes by where you aren't on my mind. Memories of you flood me every single time and I can't ever find the words to express how thankful I am to have had you as my mom. It is something I thank God for every day.
She paid tribute to her mom's unmeasurable love and unparalleled sacrifices for their family and being her confidant.
“Mommy, I am holding on today the beautiful memories we had and the incomparable sacrifices you made for all of us that continuously inspire me to live, move on and do better each day.
“Thank you for being that one person who knew what's exactly in my heart when my mouth can't speak. For silently listening to the things I know NO ONE can fully understand. Please forgive me for all my shortcomings. I know I am not a perfect daughter for you,” she continued.
Jean then said that she's full of regrets for not giving all the best she could for her when she was still alive.
“Know that I am still in great regret until this very day, because I missed out one important thing - I wasn't able to grant more of the things your heart longs for.
“I always hope to bring back the time so I could live out every single day as if it were a grand MOTHER'S DAY celebration, to have much more time and opportunities to make you PROUD...and fulfill all the dreams you have for me and our family.”
“You are heavily missed, but we are looking forward to the day when we can see you again. I believe DEATH is not the end, because I know in my heart our love for each other will go on. Until we meet again, Mommy!”
According to Jean, her mom Sandra, was brought to over 10 hospitals before being admitted as she was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Three days after being admitted, Sandra's condition worsen. She developed pneumonia and complications until she passed away. She was 70.
