Professional volleyball player and Rocco Nacino's wife, Melissa Gohing, gave a glimpse of how she celebrated her first birthday as a mother.

In an Instagram post, Melissa said they celebrated late because Rocco was in taping during her birthday.

She had a simple celebration with Rocco, baby EZ, and a few of their family members, but according to Melissa, it was her most meaningful birthday.

“I didn't have a grand celebration but it was the most meaningful one because baby EZ is already with us,” she wrote.

Melissa gave birth to their first born, Ezren Raffaelo, last October 9.

She also thanked Rocco for organizing the surprise gathering.

"Thank you daddy for planning a surprise dinner for me on my birthday. You know I just wanted to be just at home with EZ.”

Rocco responded to the post with a sweet comment, "Awww anything to make feel extra on your special day! I love you @gohingmelissa!” the Kapuso actor said.

Rocco also previously penned a sweet birthday message for Melissa.

“Thank you for being the team captain of our small family, for the patience, support, never ending love, and for laughing at all my corny jokes,” a part of his message read.
