Heart Evangelista opened up about a very difficult topic about having a baby with Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

In her exclusive interview with 24 Oras Weekend, the Queen of Creative Collaboration admitted to being pressured of getting pregnant then.

“Hindi ko siya pinag-uusapan, actually, kahit madaming nagtatanong because no matter how you put it, it's always painful to lose a child. And I didn't just lose one, I lost twins.” Heart said.

She continued, “I must say before, yes. You know it wasn't just because dahil artista ka, of course, subconsciously makikita mo comments, 'di ba? Because, lahat 'yun at kahit 'yung iba mong kilala sa buhay parang they expect that for me at this point.”

“Hindi siya binigay sa akin, so bakit ako magmumokmok, 'di ba? Bakit ako magmumokmok or bakit ako magse-celebrate rin. I will just live my life and I'm happy.”

In May 2018, the actress-singer confirmed that she lost one of her twins and then the following month, Heart shared the devastating news that her other baby's heart stopped beating, when she reached the 3rd month of her pregnancy.

Heart also clarified in her interview with 24 Oras that she's not giving up, but would not let her be affected by the immense pressure of becoming a mother.

She stressed, “No I'm not. Kasi, kung pipilitin mo 'yung hindi para sa'yo, para saan pa. But, kung para sa 'yo, 'di para sa 'yo. I'm not giving up, but I'm not pressuring myself.”
