This isn't the first time that Pauline Amelinckx has grabbed attention with a monochrome outfit.
Swifties and pageant fans alike got a nice little shout out from the Miss Philippines organization after they posted a photo of the country's current delegate to the Miss Supranational pageant, Pauline Amelinckx, with a caption referencing the famous singer.
In a post on the Miss Philippines Instagram account, the organization posted multiple photos of Pauline looking lovely in a lavender swimsuit from designer Mikee Andrei's PauLina brand. In the caption to the post, the organization referenced Taylor Swift's song “Lavender Haze” and described Pauline as bringing “a new definition to beauty” with her “unwavering strength and self-confidence.”
This isn't the first time that Pauline has caught the attention of netizens using a single color. During the Miss Supranational opening ceremonies, Pauline channeled her “charm and individuality” with a “bold pink ensemble.”
Aside from sharing Pauline's swimsuit photos, the Miss Philippines official Instagram account also called on Pauline's followers and Filipino pageant fans to vote for her in the Supra Fan Vote, adding instructions on how to do so in the caption to the post.
It's the same call for votes that Pauline made on her own Instagram account, as the Supra Fan Vote could propel her into the pageant's top 12.
Filipino pageant fans have already shown up for Pauline before, making her the winner of Group 10 of the SUPRA Chat challenge. The win gives her an advantage over her fellow delegates as she now has a spot in the top 10 semi-final round of the SUPRA Chat challenge.
Aside from the Supra Fan Vote, Pauline's supporters can also help her out in the SUPRA Headshot challenge, since a good placement could guarantee Pauline's place in the pageant's Top 24.
Pauline's introduction video is also being voted on, with fans able to vote for it on the Miss Suprantional YouTube channel.
The Miss Supranational pageant's coronation night is to be held in Poland on July 14.
