All eyes are on Pauline Amelinckx as she represents the Philippines in pink at the Miss Supranational pageant.
Pauline Amelinckx, the country's current delegate to the Miss Supranational pageant, is having no problem getting attention as she parades in a pink gown at the Miss Supranational pageant's opening ceremonies.
In a post on the Miss Philippines official Instagram account, the organization said that the Mara Chua-designed “bold pink ensemble” channels Pauline's charm and individuality.
On her own Instagram account, Pauline admitted that attending the Miss Supranational opening ceremonies made her feel “a little emotional” and filled her with “so much pride and gratitude.” She then wrote in the caption that it is “an incredible honor” to represent the country and bring the “Filipino Spirit” to the Miss Supranational pageant.
The Miss Supranational opening ceremonies come a day after Pauline's arrival in Poland and meeting some of her fellow Miss Supranational delegates. On her Instagram, Pauline shared that it was “exciting” to have friends in different parts of the world by the time the pageant ends.
Pauline admitted to some nervousness about flying to Poland in an Instagram post before her departure from the country, but also added that “the excitement and gratitude outweigh all of that.” She also acknowledged the other people who are part of her journey and promised that she would raise the country's flag high and wear the sash with “both humility and pride.”
Pauline is going into the Miss Supranational pageant with a little edge above her fellow delegates, as she has already been declared the Group 10 winner of the SUPRA Chat challenge, earning her a spot in the top 10 semi-final round of the SUPRA Chat challenge.
That said, there are still other challenges Pauline has to hurdle, such as her introduction video. Fans can vote for her video on the Miss Suprantional YouTube channel.
Filipinos can also vote for Pauline on the SUPRA Headshot challenge, where a good placement could guarantee Pauline's place in the pageant's Top 24.
