StarStruck council member Cherie Gil is back and she's proving to the world that no one can slay a red carpet moment like her!

On her Instagram, the primera kontrabida can be seen flashing a smile while wearing an all-red ensemble.

“When in crutches, strike a pose,” she writes on Instagram.

Cherie recently had meniscus surgery at the Makati Medical Center last August 20.

She said it was her first surgery in more than 20 years and feels “rebooted” after having it done.

According to the Penn Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, a meniscus tear happens when the force and degree of twisting can tear some wedge-shaped cartilage that provides cushioning between the thigh and shin bones.

It is common among athletes and if left untreated may need surgery to restore full knee function.
