#StyleSteal: A breakdown of Olivia Rodrigo's White House outfit
Fil-Am chart-topping singer Olivia Rodrigo stepped into the White House on Wednesday, July 14, with a very important mission, and she did so looking all gorgeous in her stylish OOTD composed of a vintage Chanel skirt and suit paired with trendy accessories.
The record-breaking "Drivers License" and "Good 4 U" singer met with no less than President Joe Biden and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director, Dr. Anthony Fauci, to encourage young Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
While we cannot stress enough how important it is for a global superstar of her magnitude to use her voice to influence the youth in making a life-saving decision, we also can't help but admire her outfit for the monumental moment.
Olivia looked professional and at the same time every bit of the young, pretty, and stylish Gen-Z celebrity that she is, wearing a vintage pink Chanelsuit that her “wardrobe scientists” Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo especially chose for her.
Vintage shop Aralda confirmed that the timeless Chanel outfit was plucked from the Spring 1995 archive, meaning it's actually nine years older than the 18-year-old hitmaker.
It was clearly a nod to the past U.S. First Ladies who have worn Chanel in the White House, especially Jacqueline Kennedy.
Plus, if you're a '90s baby, you can't deny that Olivia's vintage ensemble gives off strong Clueless and Legally Blonde vibes.
And we also can't help but notice that our very own Kapuso star and style icon Heart Evangelista has worn several tweed Chanel suits that looked similar to what Olivia was wearing.
It just goes to show that no matter how old an outfit is, it will never go out of style if paired with the right accessories and worn by celebrities with such star power as Olivia Rodrigo and Heart Evangelista.

Similar pre-owned tweed Chanel suits on eBay and farfetch.com are worth around P150,000 or higher. That's the same price as a second hand car here in the Philippines!
But for a star as big as Olivia and a moment as priceless as visiting the White House and meeting the U.S president, every penny spent on a vintage outfit from a luxury brand is surely worth it.
As for her shoes, Olivia rocked a white platform Mary Jane heels from Giuseppe Zanotti, which costs $498 or around P25,000.

The "Déjà Vu" singer was also carrying a tiny black Super Amini Pernille Bag from Amina Muaddi, which according to Ssense.com is worth $1,055 or around P53,000.

And finally, Olivia completed her White House OOTD with the Rue clip-on earrings from Justine Clenquet, which is part of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Other Justine Clenquet earrings on Ssense.com are priced at $100 or higher, so that's around P5,000 to P6,000.
