Jung Ho-yeon has booked another gig after shooting to superstardom thanks to Netflix hit Squid Game. The 27-year-old was just announced as the new global ambassador for iconic fashion house Louis Vuitton.

The actress shared the new development on her Instagram account, posting a photo of herself modeling a Louis Vuitton outfit and bag. The model-turned-actress described it as a “new start” with the brand, referencing her time walking the runway for Louis Vuitton's 2017 Spring-Summer collection.

She also tagged Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton's creative director for women's collections. In a statement, Nicolas Ghesquière said that he remembers when he “immediately fell for Ho-yeon's outstanding talents and fantastic personality.”

Naming her as the brand's latest global ambassador is definitely a smart move on the part of Louis Vuitton, as the model and actress recently amassed more than 13 million followers on her Instagram account. As of this writing, the follower count has ballooned to 15.7 million.

She is also friends with another globally-recognized celebrity, Jennie of BLACKPINK, whose visit to the Squid Game set she recently shared on Instagram.
